FPInnovations is one of the world's largest private-sector scientific research centres, including research laboratories in Quebec City, Montreal and Vancouver. With more than 525 employees FPI acts as a catalyst for the transformation of the forest sector by bringing together members of the private sector as well as provincial and federal governments, colleges and universities.

The BRI is a public research institute that aims to develop and improve various technologies related to housing, construction and urban planning. To this end, BRI leads numerous R&D projects and develops international programmes on seismic testing and engineering.
Japan International Association for the Industry of Building and Housing (Japan)

JIBH collects and exchanges a wide range of information with related countries in order to cooperate as an industry for the purpose of developing the building and housing industry in other countries that are closely related to Japan. The purpose is to promote exchanges, foster a healthy relationship in the building and housing industry with other countries, and promote friendship and goodwill with the countries concerned.
